Big News for This Year's Norwood Parade! 

The NEW DATE is FRIDAY, JULY 18TH and there will be a slightly different parade route for this year’s Norwood Parade. This parade theme is "One Town, One Heart" and our Grand Marshal is Stone Lanes.

What an exciting time to live and work in Norwood! As you’ve likely noticed, Montgomery Road — our city’s central corridor — is undergoing a much-needed refurbishment. While this progress is something to celebrate, it also means we’ll be taking a slightly different route for this year’s Norwood Parade.

We’ve worked closely with city officials to design a thoughtful alternative that keeps the event fun and accessible for everyone:

Staging will take place on Ashland, Monroe, and Floral.
The Judge’s Reviewing Stand will be located at New City Church — right at the front of the parade this year.
The parade route will go left on Smith, then turn right on Wall Street, ending near the Board of Elections. 

If you’ve attended the parade along Montgomery in the past, don’t worry — you’ll only need to walk a block or two further to find us along Smith or Wall. As always, the parade starts at 7PM.

Thanks again for your flexibility and support as we make the most of these exciting changes. You’ll appreciate the smoother, safer Montgomery Road for years to come — and in the meantime, we can’t wait to celebrate with you on our new route!
